Feel Your Boobies ~ Feel Your Boobies Week

I Did it! Testimonial

Boobies Bulletin: Feel Your Boobies Week, October, 2010

The 4th Annual National Feel Your Boobies Week is here!. Each year to help you celebrate this week of proactive breast health, Feel Your Boobies® creates FREE, fun and interactive ways to encourage you to “Feel Your Boobies. Remind a Friend.” We do what we do best…create cool media campaigns…and YOU do the reminding! That’s just about as easy as…well…Feeling Your Boobies!

Here’s some simple ways you can get involved:

1. YouBoob Funniest Video Contest: View, Vote, Share
We’ve asked you to send us your 60 second video showing how you remind your friends to “feel their boobies”…and boy did we get some great submissions. View, Vote then SHARE these hilarious and thoughtful videos with your friends as a way for you to remind them and spread the message this week!

2. Change Your Profile Pic
To help get your friends involved in the YouBoob Funniest Video Contest festivities, be sure to change your profile pic to get more people viewing, voting & sharing. What?? You like your Boobicon pic better from last year?? Well go ahead and use it…we can live with that!

3. Shop, Donate, & Share FYB Stuff
Our merchandise is not only a fun way to share our proactive message, it’s the primary way we support our campaign. With every $1 that comes into our campaign, we are able to fund 250 additional reminders in our campaign…and our reminders are saving lives. So check out our store, buy something to share with a friend, and help keep our campaign going. We’re saving lives (check out our testimonials).

Ok, so our busy time is here and we thought we’d let you in on a secret…the most popular items from our Fall items. We know sometimes it’s hard to make a decision so you just avoid making one…so here’s the top three sellers among our new merchandise. The early adopters have spoken, now it’s your turn to get your stuff. Remember, 100% of net profits from each purchase allows us to expand our campaign and send more reminders.

Your campaign saved my mums life! Although it’s a USA based charity and campaign, thanks to my californian Aunt who posted your website on facebook, my mum was reminded to check her breasts, she found 3 lumps 2 years ago and has just been told she’s in remission after undergoing 2 lumpectomys and numerous rounds of chemo. Thanks to your amazing work me and my 12 & 5 year old sisters still have our beautiful mum. Thank you so much!!!

Supporter Shout Outs!

For a third year in a row we are working with Alfred Angelo Bridal to bring the Feel Your Boobies campaign to young brides-to-be across the country. This year, Alfred Angelo’s Girl’s Night Out promotion is happening on Wednesday October 13th (yup, to honor National Feel Your Boobies Week)…so if you’re a bride-to-be, check out the details at a store near you (60 stores nationally) and come out to have a great night of bridal fun!

Emily Elizabeth Jewelry, for a 2nd year in a row, has selected a piece of her collection from which she will donate 40% of sales to support Feel Your Boobies. Last year she was able to donate almost $900 to support our efforts and we know this year will be just as successful. Featured in magazines like InStyle and Glamour…her styles are fashionable and affordable…and she’s charitable to boot! Check out the feature in Pregnancy and Newborn magazine featuring Sheryl Crow. http://www.emilyelizabethjewelry.com

As always, we appreciate your ongoing support and continued enthusiasm for the campaign.
